Our Story
Little Sunshine Daycare adheres to a holistic approach to early childhood education. When we expose children to different environments and various learning experiences, we allow them to explore their self-awareness and gain a sense of the world around them. Once they leave our Childcare Center, they’re fully prepared for the next stage of their young lives.
Little Sunshine Daycare Mission
We believe that children thrive in an environment which values their own uniqueness, while providing support and opportunities to grow emotionally, socially and creatively. By building on each child’s strengths, interests and curiosities, we guide each child to explore the world around them as well as develop new abilities and form close relationships.
Curriculum
Arts and crafts:
Little Sunshines Daycare encourages creativity and imagination through various arts and crafts activities. From painting and drawing to sculpting and collage, children have the opportunity to express themselves through a variety of mediums and techniques.
Circle time:
At Little Sunshines Daycare, circle time is a daily routine where children gather in a circle to participate in singing songs, telling stories, and engaging in interactive activities. This helps to build social skills, foster a sense of community, and provide a structured environment for young children to develop their language and communication skills.
Connection to the natural environment:
At Little Sunshines Daycare, outdoor playtime is incorporated into their daily routine to provide children with opportunities for physical activity and natural exploration. With ample green spaces and engaging play equipment, the children are able to engage in creative play, improve their motor skills and develop a love for the outdoors.
